Those were the days

When laughter was all we chased

The sun was bright, the birds were there

The head was small

But vision was clear

There was shining in the eyes

With so much to explore

Now I just stand in the

Crowd and feel alone

Junglenama by Amitav Ghosh

The talks are more offensive

The smiles have become so expensive

It feels like we just have mouths to say

But no one wants to understand in anyway

The body is growing

With hollowness inside

I don’t even remember when

I last smiled so wide

(An Umbrella of Hope – A Poem by Vidya Shankar)

Those were the days

I was happy without any help

Those were the days

When I was myself

(Poem written by Ayushi Singh)
