Why the good things are not happening in your life?

In different phases of life (ranging from toddler to dotage), we experience, both the good things and bad things. The key to equanimity lies in the secret of the art of letting go. We might have got disheartened by our close ones, acquaintances, or even strangers; experienced major setbacks, and impediments in life but it is shrewd to leave that behind at the very moment and move on.

If you hold on to your past, you will be punishing yourself emotionally, mentally, and physically, henceforth you need to keep and make yourself strong for your loved ones. If you can’t laugh at the same joke again and again, how come you cry over the same pain constantly – herein, try to get bored with the pain you are suffering from and replenish your happiness right over by a smile and penning down your thoughts in your diary/paper/journal.

Why good things are not happening in your life?

Sometimes the reason good things are not happening to you is that you are the good thing that needs to happen to other people. You were meant to cross life’s obstacles so that you could appreciate and be grateful for the little things which you have been taken for granted.

It is only in the darkness; you can see the stars. Also, this darkness won’t last long if you remember to switch on the lights. Henceforth, what has happened (whether it was good or bad), is past – therefore, don’t look back in lieu look forward. You need to quiet the mind and avoid taking harrowing exertion so that you can listen to your soul.

The way you look at things and perceive your miseries really matters. In difficult situations, try to keep yourself calm and strong as when an egg is broken from the inside force, a new life begins, therefore, mark this an opportunity to revive instead of playing the victim card. Fight back against the negative voice and energy (within) that is telling you all the lies – you are a WARRIOR. Bountiful happiness, success, and tranquillity are built on rigorous perseverance, endeavors, stoicism, fiascos, vexation, and even catastrophe.

The Life of Abraham Lincoln (His failures and his success)

The life of Abraham Lincoln, who is regarded as one of the significant, and highest-ratedPresident among historians, was not that cushy. Lincoln was born into abject poverty and had no formal education by the virtue of which he was mostly self-taught. The snapshot of his predicaments (which later epitomizes his roadmap to success) is as provided: (1831)He failed in business – (1832)Defeated in a legislative race – (1833)Again failed in business and became bankrupt – (1835)Death of his sweetheart – (1836)Had a nervous breakdown – (1838)Defeated for Speaker – (1843)Defeated for nomination for Congress – (1849)Rejected for Land Officer – (1854)Defeated for Senate – (1856)Failed in an effort to become Vice-President – (1858)Lost a senatorial race again – (1860)Elected as the President of the US.

Lincoln endured constant setbacks and he certainly survived his fair share of defeat and failures. Indeed, Abraham Lincoln marks as the greatest example of persistence who didn’t quit and thereby conquered his hardships. Ergo, damaged people know and can actually figure out the art of survival.

Living in the present is what matters the most

There are people who are blessed with everything but still they despair. Also, there are people who have nothing, yet they are happy. It is vital to appreciate every moment of your life because it is THIS moment you remember as past so make it fruitful.

Further, the parameter of measuring your contentment, happiness, and success must solely lie in your hands- don’t be bothered by ‘what people will say?’ or put your life’s key in someone else’s pocket. It is prudent to keep in mind that the series of success-failure,happiness-dejection, hard times-good times goes hand in hand. Thence, neither take the breakthroughs nor the setbacks to your head or heart as life is 10% what happens to you and 90% of how you react to it.

“We can complain because rose bushes have thorns, or rejoice because thorn bushes have roses.”

– Abraham Lincoln
