But as we seek more accessible and faster ways of ‘getting our work done and even faster means of accessing information, are we missing something? Have we understood the true purpose of our lives and where our ultimate happiness lies? Although we are conquering new heights, scaling new horizons, why does the path to inner wellness and contentment elude us?

Guide to Inner Wellness addresses these questions by drawing upon the Shanti Karanam mantras from the Vedas to guide the reader toward attaining inner peace and harmony. Taking the strands of that Vedic knowledge, this book analyses the reasons behind high levels of stress today and suggests appropriate measures for its alleviation.

About the Author:

Atul Sehgal is an engineering professional who has held senior positions in the power sector both in the Government of India and the private sector. He is also a passionate freelance writer with seven published books to his credit. Three of these are on the subject of motivation and spirituality. He has a long association with the Arya Samaj and is a keen proponent of Vedic ideology. As an author, he draws inspiration and ideas from the core philosophy of the Vedas.

His last book, The Essence of Bhagwad Gita: 70 Verses at Its Core, was a highly acclaimed work and was a unique exposition of the Bhagwad Gita, based on Vedic analysis. He also has numerous published articles on motivation, spirituality, and philosophy. Many of these articles were published by the Hindustan Times, The New Indian Express, and The Times of India.

Sehgal believes that most problems of contemporary existence stem from dilution and violation of the principles of progressive and peaceful living prescribed by the Vedas and that solutions need to be devised accordingly.
