Bestselling Indian writer and author Ashwin Sanghi’s book ‘Keepers of the Kalachakra’ is being made into a web series. The smash hit is a legendary sci-fi spine chiller that recounts the tale of men who are the guardians of “Kalachakra” or Wheel of Time.
“‘Keepers of the Kalachakra’ is a cutting-edge thriller that explores the overlap between quantum theory and spirituality and I’m truly excited that this story will come alive on millions of screens soon through Abundantia,” Sanghi said.
The Vikram Malhotra-headed Abundantia Entertainment has gained the rights to the book, and the arrangement is to change over it into a multi-season web series. The author will work intimately with the screenwriters’ group to rejuvenate the book as an episodic series. “We are constantly on the lookout for disruptive and evocative stories and storytellers, and there couldn’t be a better example of our content philosophy than this collaboration with Ashwin,” Vikram Malhotra, founder, and CEO, Abundantia Entertainment said.
