It has been the journey of a young journalist turned debutant novelist and countless sleepless nights. My debut novel Little Longer Than Forever was launched by BEE Books, the English wing of Patra Bharati at the International Kolkata Book Fair on the 8th of February, 2014. The book was released by ace film director and music maestro Anjan Dutta, renowned journalist and veteran author Ranjan Bandopadhyay and author Mou Roychoudhury. There was a short after-launch program when talked about the book and its storyline. A brief book signing session followed inside the store.
Next, on the 23rd of April 2014, the book was re-released by the Principal of St. Paul’s Boarding & Day School on the occasion of the World Book Day. The book being a young adult fiction, soon turned into a craze amongst the high school students. On the 30th of April Rev. Fr. Felix Raj, the present Principal of St. Xavier’s College received the book with pleasure on the Silver Jubilee of his priesthood.
The Telegraph in Schools (TTIS) has published the synopsis of the book in their section ‘Shelf’ for the young authors to grab a copy. The Times of India would soon publish a review.
