Move on in Life

When you were there with me

Life was a garden of roses

Thoughts of yours

Gave me smiles on my face

Your existence made me feel

Life is indeed beautiful

As you left by my side

Life appeared to be cruel.

Your love and care

I valued the most

After you decided to move on

My eyes welled up with tears.

My mind crept with fears.

Your absence made me feel

Life is bland

Time slips away from my hand

Like slippery sand.

Your moving away

Seemed difficult for me

I was left alone

In the middle of a vast sea.

Certain decisions are bitter

But, they are necessary for life

Instead of dragging a dead relationship

Putting a permanent halt to it

Is a decision that is way better.
