When her soul is too tired
When lust, perfumes, and bonfire can wait
Will he wraps her in a warm cuddle
Plant soft kisses on her eyes
To lull her
His love and warmth

Blotting her tears?
She would coil up in his heart
Like a child in a womb…
On waking up
How beautiful it would be
To find new wings grown
In the texture of his smile, and
As she tries to fly
He hugs her and places gently on her palm
Her dreams, gift-wrapped
Carefully collected from her sleep…
