poetic-tuesday-prompt-3-dwell-time

Every Tuesday, we would be sharing a prompt to ignite your creative side. This week, write a poem or a verse on Dwell Time!

We all are busy in our life, doing mundane tasks, following the same robotic routine. Imagine a moment that something hooked you up and you felt like that the time is stopped. You dwell and get lost into that something or someone. Or you can even think the same right now. Imagine that everything around you has stopped and time has frozen, what are you doing?

Our take on the prompt: Dwell Time

“Time Bound”

Of music and the sound

I always look around

For the things lost and found

To this time I am bound!

  1. How the wind dropped a glance,

    Fingers tapping the keyboard,
    Thought of taking a rest,
    Eyes looked up
And a moment there caught frozen,
    A breeze fell a glance,
    While pavement walked past,
    Like an afternoon
    Writing dreams…
    So lucid.

  2. Dwell time

You think you have me pinned down, Time
    On your conveyor belt.
I can never get ahead by myself, or go back
    To where I’ve dwelt.
You forget that I also exist beyond
    Your temporal limit
My imagination soars ahead and behind you
and with it my Eternal spirit.
Caught in the pincer grip of the clock’s hands
I run the gamut of my everyday errands.
But when I’m free, I virtually release
Your bonds to dwell wherever I please!

  3. Oh
    Dwell time
Target was to make it minimum
    After all
It was time taken to pass
    Through customs barrier
    Some consignment of someone
    May be it had
    Life saving concoction
    Someone was swinging
    Between hell and heaven !
