poetic-tuesday-prompt-4-trapped

Every Tuesday, we would be sharing a prompt to ignite your creative side. This week, write a poem or a verse on Trapped!

We as human beings flow with our lives. The journey is smooth for some, for others it can be a path full of struggles and hardships. We come along situations in which we feel like we are trapped and can’t get out. Has something like this happened to you? If yes, then its time to tickle your creative side and come up with a poem or a verse describing your feelings and emotions you went through!

Our take on the prompt: Trapped

“I was Trapped!”

Gasping for breath

Longing for a life

Looking upwards in the sky

I saw only the blue moon

Wondering where all the stars were

The twinkling little dots

The time went on, nothing I saw

That day I realized, I was trapped!

  1. Being human we are bound
    By iron shackles all around
Our bodies in this human state
Are subject to hunger, love and hate
But rip apart these veils and see
How our minds and souls are free
Children of the stars are we
    Of the diamond dusted galaxy
    Travelling through space and eternity.
